A:  Once you make the purchase, advise the seller that you will be using Berks Firearms for disposition of your item.  Provide them with our phone number (610-779-4240) and/or e-mail address (info@berksfirearms.com).  Alternately, you can pass the seller's information to us, including name, phone number, e-mail address, and auction / order number.  We will take care of the rest.  When we receive your item, we will contact you to let you know it's here.  Alternately, if you receive other notification that it's been delivered, you can CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment online.  You'll come in, fill out the required paperwork, and have a background check completed.  After that, you leave with your firearm.  It's that simple. 

Q:Do you fix guns or do other repairs?

A:  We are a certified Glock pistol armorer and able to diagnose and repair Glock pistols with original parts.  Though we cannot repair other firearms, we can point you in the right direction.

A:  No.  A firearm can be lawfully transported unloaded and in a secure wrapper from the place of purchase to the buyer's home.  A permit IS required for the purpose of carrying a firearm concealed on his/her person or in a vehicle.

Q:What is the process for using Berks Firearms as an FFL for an internet purchase from an online firearms retailer?

A:  No and no.  We no longer stock any inventory (guns, parts, accessories, etc.) and we don't order in.  We exclusively deal in person-t0-person transfers and receipt and transfer of firearms for internet purchases by our customers.

Q:Do I need a Concealed Carry Permit to purchase a firearm?

A:  It's Latin for "Arm Yourself and Defend Liberty".  We believe in the 2nd Amendment and the right of the people to keep and bear arms.  We feel it's crucial for people to exercise the freedoms granted to us by the Authors of the Constitution, lest they be taken for granted and eventually lost.
